Due to our vast experience working in these environments, Encore Pavement has been the preferred contractor on many challenging asphalt and concrete projects for Tessenderlo Kerley, located at the Coffeyville, Kansas, refinery.
In-House Capabilities
As a leading paving and concrete contractor, Encore Pavement has the unique ability to perform all concrete and paving work in-house, preventing the need to bring in multiple subcontractors.
For Tessenderlo Kerley, we completed excavation around hundreds of underground, ground level and overhead pipelines, valves, storage tanks and pressurized tanks, all located inside of a large containment bunker. One hundred percent of the existing pavement was carefully and meticulously replaced with brand new concrete and asphalt paving, executed through a very detailed phasing plan, with extreme safety protocols to keep our employees and TK workers safe. This project was successfully completed on-time, on-budget, and they remained fully operational throughout the entire process. Our ability to self-perform challenging projects ensures a safer, more efficient job site as well as a higher quality of work.
Extensive Safety Programs
According to Josh Clevenger, partner and vice president, Encore Pavement has extensive safety programs that include daily safety topics that are discussed, documented and recorded on the job site. We also review potential hazards on every project and plan accordingly. Safety is everyone’s responsibility, and we take that responsibility seriously.
